Are you afraid to start your own e-zine or online newsletter? perhaps you are worried about how you will churn out a steady stream of fresh, new content? Fortunately, there are many techniques by which you can resolve this problem.
Most content can, generally speaking, be divided into four categories: raw facts, tips and hints, case studies and anecdotes. Brainstorming along these lines can help you to come up with many topics to write about.
If you already write and maintain a blog, you are already familiar with the challenges of coming up with a steady stream of content, and you have presumably found ways to deal with them. Furthermore, if you have a blog, much of your challenges in coming up with content for your newsletter are already resolved, because you can repurpose blog content to send to your subscribers.
Most of your subscribers probably don’t visit your blog on a daily or even weekly basis anyway. Including excerpts from your most recent blog posts can encourage subscribers to come to your blog to read the rest of the article.

The effective use of graphical images can enliven webpages by breaking up the monotony of long blocks of grey text. Such graphics can be clip art originally designed for print use and repurposed for the web, photographs, artwork designed specifically for blogs and webpages, or graphics that you create yourself.
To incorporate graphics on your blog or webpage, you should know a little bit about the standard graphic formats. These include GIF (Graphical Interchange Format), JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) and PNG (Portable Network Graphics). these three formats have gained predominance on the web because their advantages and disadvantages balance out each other.
For example, the GIF format only supports 256 colors but it compresses nicely with no noise. This makes it ideal for images with broad, flat areas of color, such as cartoons and logos. The JPEG format is far more efficient than GIF for photographs and images with color gradiations and it provides varying levels of compression, but it can introduce noise, referred to as “artifacts,” into an image.
The PNG format could be seen as a compromise between the GIF and JPEG formats. It does a good job on cartoons and logos, but does not compress photographs as tightly as JPEG.

Many people are finding success in the sale of private label rights products (PLR), and it can be a profitable way to expand your online business. You do, however, need to find the right products to sell.
The concept of PLR is rather ingenious. When you buy private label rights products, depending on the terms of the agreement, you can gain resale rights along with master resale rights. As a result, you may rewrite or alter the material in any way you choose. You can put your own name on it and for all intents and purposes, you will be the creator and sole owner of the product.
When you purchase such a product, you will not only get the product itself, but also the editable source files, which will allow you to make any changes you desire to the product, using Microsoft Word or Apple’s Pages.
Private label products are available for an enormously varied price range, from a few bucks, to $250 – $1000 or more. The prices depend on the age and quality of the product, along with the extensiveness of the package that is included.

The Web has seen hundreds of article directories come and go over the years. While some of these directories last a long time, others seem to disappear almost as quickly as they arrive.
The top article directories have certain things in common, however. One of these is delivering quality content, not “spun,” or computer-generated, articles. A good directory should also offer various benefits to its contributors, including their own author page, bylines and a flexible resource box to encourage them to submit content regularly.
Most article directories have the same general format. The goal is to offer free content to webmasters and newsletter publishers in exchange for running the author’s resource box and the link to his or her site.
Many article directories allow you to focus in on content offered by a particular author, view his or her biography, see the various niches the author is written in, and so on. The directories also sort their content into categories to make it easier to find.
Directories may offer other benefits as well, such as RSS feeds and other content management systems, handy features in allowing you to find new and up-to-date content easily.
The world of article directories is competitive just like every other, and they are adding new features to stay ahead of the rest.

Anyone who has tired of the tyranny of the keyboard has probably dreamed of being able to turn their spoken words into text. Certainly, this has been the stuff of science fiction for many decades.
It has been the dream of many to be able to communicate with their voices instead of their fingers, the way humans have communicated for tens of thousands of years. Wouldn’t it be great if we could type simply by talking to our computers? After all, a typical 500-word article contains 2,800 – 3,000 characters. That day has now arrived, thanks to Nuance’s Dragon NaturallySpeaking for PC and Dragon Dictate for Mac.
Nuance is a leader in the field of speech recognition and has won over 140 awards for its ease of use and accuracy. Its easy-to-use and affordable software allows those in the home, small business and educational fields, as well as the disabled, to create documents and control their machines with their voice.
This software allows you to dictate naturally and continuously at up to 60 words a minute and works with all of your Mac and Windows programs, including Microsoft office and Apple’s Pages—in virtually any Mac or Windows application, in fact.
Features of the software include:

It doesn’t take as much to start a home-based business as it does a brick-and-mortar one, but lack of funds can still be a problem, especially at the beginning. Add to this soaring expenses, like the current rise in gas prices, and it can seem like even more of a challenge.
If funds are a problem and you don’t wish to go into debt in starting your home-based business, the remaining option is to save money by cutting down on various expenses, including fuel bills. You may be surprised that the amount of money you can save could be quite sufficient to get your home-based business going.
Whatever the reasons for the current rise in gas prices, whether it be oil speculation or the recent ill-advised American involvement in Libya and Egypt, saving money on gas is a good place to start. Here are some tips for doing so:

Social bookmarking has come a long way from just being a method of keeping track of your favorite sites and to share them with others. Today, social bookmarking is very much used as a means of marketing and site promotion. So what’s it all about?
It’s important to understand that the social bookmarking sites are vastly different from the search engines, and they fulfill a different role. Compare Google, for example, to a site such as Reddit or Delicious.
A search engine is used when a surfer wants to find specific information fast, while a social bookmarking site is often used when they want to stumble upon an interesting site or one that’s related to the one they’re currently browsing (indeed, StumbleUpon is the name of a popular social bookmarking service).
How do the social bookmarking sites work? Generally, all sites on the service are assigned sets of keywords known as tags by their users that describe the subject of each site. Usually these tags are displayed in the form of a “tag cloud” with different sizes and intensities indicating the popularity of each tag.

Article writing is one of the most important free methods of traffic generation, and any Internet marketer who wishes to be successful should have article writing as a fundamental part of their Internet marketing arsenal.
It’s true that there are many methods of traffic generation including forum posting, list building, press releases, blogging, the use of web 2.0 sites such as Squidoo and HubPages, video creation and so on. It can even involve paid methods of site promotion such as Google ad words or other methods of paid promotion.
Article marketing, however, is one method of site promotion that is often overlooked by Internet marketers due to perceived time constraints, lack of talent, a dislike of outsourcing, and so on. For this reason, many Internet marketers or wannabe marketers try to use shortcuts that not only don’t usually work but are looked down upon by the search engines.
One of the shortcuts is the use of software for Mac and PC called article spinners. Such software makes subtle changes to existing articles by substituting words for their synonyms or by rearranging sentences or paragraphs.
There are many spinner packages available for purchase online at various prices. Some are stand-alone software packages while others are fee-based Internet services. All promise to churn out articles at a rate far greater than is humanly possible.
When Internet marketers find out what a tough, slow slog the legitimate, standard and accepted practices of traffic generation can be, such automated packages can seem intriguing, indeed. But do they really work as promised?

In this information age, we are swimming in a sea of content. It’s hard enough to keep up with this in the first place, but when we are tricked into wasting our time with duplicate content masquerading under different headlines, it becomes even more maddening.
If you want to generate loyalty to your site from your visitors, then you will want to post material that they haven’t seen a hundred times before.
If this makes sense to you, then here are some tips to easily get a flood of ideas for creating your own content.
First of all, it is easiest to create content on a subject you are interested in. Also, the key to generating ideas is to do more than just initiate a web search from Google’s home page. It involves doing a little digging for information that you can use to develop your own original content.
So let’s get our hands dirty!

Let’s say you are readying the launch of a new product. You have spent months or even years studying your target market and developing your product.
The day arrives for you to open the real or virtual doors of your business to sell your product, and you notice that, while you get a few browsers, you make very few actual sales.
Is there something wrong with what you have to offer? Maybe not, but there could be something wrong with your marketing strategy.
Many people go for products from companies that they know and trust, and if you have not had much time to build up a good name for yourself, it will be especially important for you to make a good first impression. You can always offer discounts and special deals, but if you fail to project the right image, it may be all for naught.
Part of your overall image is your company logo. It should project an image that is fitting for both your company and the product you are offering. Whether your product is fun, hip, chic or utilitarian, it is important to have a logo that reflects this image. Don’t worry about whether your friends or family like your logo — the important thing is the impression it makes on customers.
